Leaders Make All the Difference

The research can be overwhelming. Do more of this. Do less of that. Try this. Don't think about doing that. While the research is important and helpful to our work, we are constantly reminded that some things never change. At the core of the "this" and the "that" is THE "thing" that we know makes THE DIFFERENCE - and that's THE LEADER. Whether it's the leader in the classroom, the school, or the district - that doesn't matter. What does matter is that the leader leads with focus, perseverance, and passion.

Superintendent Lois Klein in Mammoth is a leader who makes all the difference. In a recent presentation, Lois shared the district data in a way that speaks volumes about her belief in all the children she serves. Have a look:

Enrollment: 1,213

60% Hispanic Students
60% Students on Free/Reduced Lunch
25% English Learners
100% Bright and Capable
100% Have Dreams for Their Future

Now that's the way to think about the students! Head over to the district's website to see all the good work that the District is doing in support of their students.
